Claudia Old Chandler and Jeffrey Scott Patterson exchanged wedding vows in the garden of the Ski Tip Lodge, Keystone, Colo.

Rev. Jess Mahon officiated at the Sept. 3 ceremony.

The bride, who is called Dia, a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, is conference services manager for Ski Tip Lodge.

Her parents are Malcolm and Claudia Chandler, of Lake Forest. Her father is an attorney. The bride is a granddaughter of the late Vice Admiral Francis P. Old, who had commanded the 9th Naval District, headquartered at Great Lakes Naval Training Center, and later was executive director of the Illinois Tollroad Commission.

The bridegroom, a graduate of Western Reserve University, is reservations manager for Ski Tip Lodge.

His parents are Jack and Nancy Patterson, of River Edge, N.J. His father is vice president of sales and marketing for TRW Co., New York.

The newlyweds, who live in Keystone, plan October receptions in Lake Forest and River Edge.
