The new date for the Lionel Richie tour stop in Chicago will be August 26 at the United Center, acccording to the singer’s official website.
The original date, March 25, was postponed after Richie’s recovery from a knee procedure didn’t leave him “100 percent ready to start the tour.”
The 67-year-old Richie’s “All The Hits” tour, which will feature Mariah Carey, is scheduled to begin July 19 in Paso Robles, Calif. and end September 2 in Seattle.
Purchased tickets will be honored at the new dates.
