The Auditorium Theatre (50 E. Congress Pkwy.) is readying a mix of dance, jazz and cabaret offerings for its 2012-13 season, one that will include a production celebrating Cuban art and uniting River North Dance Chicago and the Chicago Jazz Philharmonic.

The lineup includes singer-songwriter Susan Werner in one of the Auditorium’s intimate “On Stage With” offerings Sept. 15; Michael Feinstein and Jeff Lindberg’s Chicago Jazz Orchestra Sept. 29; Ballet Folklorico de Mexico de Amalia Hernandez Oct. 6-7; and a rare visit from the Royal Winnipeg Ballet in Jorden Morris’ full-length “Moulin Rouge” Nov. 2-4.

Next year, the season continues with “Too Hot to Handel: The Jazz Gospel Messiah” Jan. 19-20; the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in an expanded visit March 8-17, 2013; River North and the Chicago Jazz Philharmonic, playing an original score by Orbert Davis, in “The Cuban Project” April 13, 2013; Michigan’s Eisenhower Dance Ensemble in “Motown in Motion” April 14, 2013; and the Eifman Ballet of St. Petersburg in “Rodin” May 17-19, 2013.
