After selling out 13 shows this week, Thalia Hall is adding two Dave Chappelle shows for Monday, with tickets set to go on sale 5 p.m. Thursday.

Thalia Hall, 1807 S. Allport St., announced Chappelle will perform at 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Monday, extending his popular Chicago residency (doors are to open at 5:30 p.m. for the early show and 9 p.m. for the late show).

Aside from the “Chappelle’s Show” star’s comedy, his stand-up run has been notable for a no-cellphone policy meant to keep crowd-shot video from being spread online.

Patrons are asked at the door to put their phones in a locked neoprene pouch — “complimentary phone check” Thalia Hall calls it in a news release — that keeps them from using their phones until the pouches are unlocked at the end of the night.

Tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster.
