Disgraced former Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. pleaded guilty to fraud charges today in Washington, DC.
We’ve got the Statement of the Offense that gives the gruesome details of Jackson’s expenditures. We’ve heard a lot about his expenditures on memorabilia from figures that ranged from Malcolm X to Jimi Hendrix, from Dr. King to Michael Jackson.
But you might not have read about the $466 spent on Chinese food, the five-day health retreat in Martha’s Vineyard or the multiple flat-screen televisions purchased with campaign funds.
After you get through that you might want to read the Plea Agreement or the Release on Personal Recognizance in which Jackson agreed to report for drug testing and to surrender his passport.
