Litynski then took an interception 30 yards for another score to give Argo a 13-6 edge. Austin`s Andre Glanton recovered a blocked punt in the end zone to make it 13-12 with 42 seconds left. Then Austin was stopped on the two-point conversion try by Argo`s Mark Pelkowski and Jihad Hattar.
– Corliss 36, South Shore 6-Rico Acoff caught two touchdown passes from QB Joe Stewart (10 of 23, 211), and Ned Brooks grabbed another for Corliss (1-1). – Gordon 15, Robeson 0-After a scoreless first half, Gordon (1-1) got a 75-yard punt return by Terry Phee in the third quarter and a 5-yard scoring jaunt from Ken Cellak in the fourth quarter to subdue Robeson (1-1) at Gately Stadium. The Rams limited Robeson to 128 total yards on offense.
– Elmwood Park 55, Luther North 12-Each of the four times Luigi Sarli touched the ball, he scored. Accumulating 109 yards, Sarli had a kickoff return for 76 yards and runs of 60, 20 and 27 yards to lead Elmwood Park (1-1). The Tigers` Steve Pytlak had TD runs of 8 and 11 yards.
– Glenbard East 14, Holy Cross 0-Behzad Regimand broke a scoreless tie when he returned a punt 88 yards for a third-quarter touchdown. Jim Garcia then put Holy Cross (0-2) away with a 22-yard TD run in the final period as Glenbard East (1-1) rolled.
– Hillcrest 22, Crete-Monee 21-Vyshaum Maney`s 3-yard run, plus his two-point conversion run in the fourth quarter, lifted Hillcrest (1-1) over Crete-Monee (0-2). Hillcrest went up 14-0 after one quarter on a 54-yard interception return by Derek Bryant and a 20-yard TD run by Maney (16 rushes, 72 yards).
– Montini 36, Lake Forest Academy 6-Mick Durkin scored twice on passes and Matt Maciejewski, Joe Wattenberg and Brendan Arnlol had rushing TDs for Montini (1-1). Ryan Chmiel threw a 67-yard TD pass to Haji Glover for by Lake Forest (0-2).
– North Shore 42, LaLumiere (Ind.) 16-Greg Jacobs (10 carries, 163 yards, 2 receptions, 82 yards) scored touchdowns on runs of 33, 53 and 14 yards, another on a 58-yard pass from Owen Gerst and booted a 31-yard field goal and two PATs for North Shore (1-1).

– St. Joseph 25, Herscher 16-Andrew Cornelious carried 21 times for 156 yards and scored twice on 2-yard runs to lift St. Joseph (1-1). Kevin Greene pitched touchdown passes to Nathan Hilding (57 yards) and Dustin Kolwelter (32 yards) for Herscher (1-1).
– Schurz 28, Collins 6-Donald Brooks rushed for 79 yards and Wayne Gorksi threw touchdown passes of 22 yards to Pierce Hutchings and 9 yards to Quincy Stephenson as Schurz (2-0) romped. Sean Anderson rambled 32 yards after recovering a fumble for the Bulldogs` other score.
