BeBe Winans and CeCe Winans had not recorded a BeBe & CeCe album since 1994, to the dismay of their many fans longing for another

“Different Lifestyles”

or

“Heaven”

that brought the classic hits “Addictive Love,” “I’ll Take You There” and “Lost Without You.”

The brother and sister gospel songbirds, part of the Winans family multigenerational clan of ministers, singers and minister-singers, haven’t been out on the road together for as long a time either. Their 2009 CD,

“Still,”

with the popular single “Close to You,” has made fans quite happy that they are back and still bringing the joy and good music. And “Still,” as has been the case with their music, which has a soulful and sometimes R&B tinged groove, is also getting a regular rotation on mainstream radio.

That’s nothing new for BeBe or CeCe, multiple Grammy, Dove and Stellar Award winners, whose solo and collaborative works have been successful on the secular and gospel charts. (“Different Lifestyles” took the No. 1 place on the R&B/Hip Hop Billboard chart in 1991, making BeBe & CeCe the second gospel artists to claim that title; Aretha Franklin’s “Amazing Grace” was the first.) This is not to say that BeBe and CeCe have not performed together in all this time — for special performances, on award shows, as guests for each other’s concerts, but this performance will be of the duet’s music, those blended harmonies that flow so flawlessly that, well yes, they’re heavenly.

8 p.m. Saturday at Star Plaza Theatre, 8001 Delaware Place, Merrillville, Ind. $35-$45; 800-745-3000,
