More than 40,000 participants are expected Sunday in the 31st Chicago Marathon, now sponsored by Bank of America. Among them will be Kenyan Daniel Njenga, who is aiming for his first victory after finishing second or third in his six previous Chicago appearances.

Start times: Wheelchair, 7:50 a.m.; Elite, 7:55 a.m.; Marathon, 8 a.m.

Forecast: Partly cloudy and 65 degrees at the start, warming up to 75 by noon.
