Despite pulling in $80 million from Chicago parking meters in 2011, the private company operating them is demanding another $14 million from the city for spaces taken out of commission for festivals, repairs and other events. Disputing the claim, City Hall says Chicago Parking Meters LLC is seeking a “windfall to which it is not entitled.”
