CVS 42, Kenwood 20-Tackle Greg Wilkens led a defensive front of Maurice Coleman and Kenneth Martin that shut down Kenwood running game that sorely missed Oliver Speller. Abdullah Latiff led CVS with touchdown runs of 17 and 29 yards. Andre Nauls, Anthony McDonald and Jeffrey Jones all ran with ease and Michael Moore returned the game`s short opening kickoff 75 yards for a touchdown. CVS is 1-3, while Kenweod fell to 3-1.

Roosevelt 12, Clemente 6-QB Moe Ghanimah completed only three of seven passes for 120 yards, but one was a 55-yard bomb to Antwine Lewis in the second quarter that earned Roosevelt (3-1, 1-0) the victory in the Northeast Section opener at Lane Stadium.

Tony Terrell (19 carries, 152 yards) scored the first touchdown for the Rough Riders on an 83-yard dash in the first quarter.
