Drew Peterson is adding two more defense attorneys to his legal team.

The former Bolingbrook police officer is scheduled to stand trial in June in the slaying of his former wife, Kathleen Savio. Peterson defense attorney Joseph Lopez says attorneys Ralph Meczyk and Steven Greenberg will join Peterson’s team next week.

Last week, attorneys Andrew Abood and George Lenard left Peterson’s team, citing “irreconcilable differences.” That’s when Peterson’s lead attorney Joel Brodsky said Lopez would join the defense team.

Peterson is charged with murder in Savio’s 2004 death. He’s a suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, but hasn’t been charged.

Peterson denies any wrongdoing.
