Duckworth, August 16, age 83, late of Olympia Fields, formerly of Riverdale, beloved husband of Floy Mae Duckworth, nee Parker; loving father of Judith (Robert) Quinlan and Carol Franke; dearest grandfather of Steve (Margaret) Quinlan and Susan (David) Petkovich; great-grandfather of eight; cherished brother of Jane (the late Ed) Brossard and Jack (Virginia) Duckworth. Former General Chairman of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and 54 year member of the Machinists Local #498 which bears his name. WWII U.S. Navy Veteran. Member of Lowvale Lodge #1139 A.F. & A.M., 32nd Degree Member of Medinah Temple A.A.O.N.M.S., Chicago and South Suburban Shrine Club of Kankakee. Former officer of the Par Pushers Golf Club of Cherry Hills Country Club, Flossmoor. Memorial service 2 p.m. Saturday, August 25, at Tews Funeral Home, 18230 S. Dixie Hwy., Homewood.
