Robert David Ferguson, a resident of Chicago since 1965, died at his home on Nov. 25, 2001. He was born Aug. 12, 1940 in Superior, WI to Robert and Ruth, nee Lien, Ferguson. He graduated from St. Croix High School in Solon Springs, WI and the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Mr. Ferguson served in the National Guard from 1958 through 1965. He was a licensed real estate broker and was presently affiliated with Keller Williams Fox Realty. Mr. Ferguson was very active in his community, the “Uptown” neighborhood and had been recognized for renovation of numerous buildings in Uptown. He was a member of The Fourth Presbyterian Church of Chicago. Survivors include his mother, Ruth Ferguson of Superior, WI; his sister, Dorothy Ferguson; and brother-in-law, Stephen Rains of Rochester, NY. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert in 1977. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22 at the Fourth Presbyterian Church of Chicago, Blair Chapel, 115 E. Delaware, with Pastor John Boyle officiating.
