Any burgeoning teenage filmmakers out there looking for a place to showcase their talents? Scorsese and Spielberg wannabes will delight in this Teen Film Festival evening, which puts the spotlight on the directors of the future. But anyone can participate, and therein lies the beauty of the digital age. If you have a video camera, you can create a semiprofessional piece. Just look at YouTube.com for examples. Informal judging will take place to choose the most promising submissions in a plethora of categories such as Best Scary Film and Best Dramatic Film. Winners will receive a special Naperville Public Library Oscar, movie passes and concession-stand gift certificates.
