Peter J. Foidl, age 81, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2003, at Salem Village Nursing Home in Joliet, IL. Late of Lockport, IL. He is survived by his wife Loretta H. (Reiter) Foidl; two daughters Pamela Dalman and Cynthia (Larry) Copenhaver; four grandchildren, Sheri (Jason) Milburn, Laurie (Deo) Briones, Brian (Liz) Shanahan and Gina (Ryan) Maleckas; and five great-grandchildren; one brother, John (Darlene) Foidl; two sisters Theresa (Norman) Singer and Helen Burgess. Formerly from Chicago, IL, coming from FL. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of St. Dennis Church in Lockport, IL, and Union Local 705 Teamsters. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary (Avender) Foidl; one sister, Ann (Norbert) Withaeger and one brother Jake Foidl. Family will receive friends at St. Dennis Church, 1214 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL, Monday, December 15, 2003, from 9 a.m. until Mass of the Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Inurnment to follow to Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
