Pierce Brosnan, the Irish born actor who plays James Bond, visited UN Secretary General Kofi Annan to see what he could do for the world body.
Asked whether he would give Brosnan “license to kill” for peace as the fictitious British agent Bond had, Annan said: “Definitely not.”
Brosnan has indicated an interest in “getting involved” at the United Nations and was visiting Annan and other UN specialists on disarmament, peacekeeping and children, UN spokesman Fred Eckhard said.
