John Stewart, 21, of the 1700 block of Galilee Avenue, Zion, was arrested Tuesday after being admitted to Holy Family Medical Center, 100 River Rd., police said. While in the care of hospital staff, Stewart allegedly bit a 31-year-old hospital employee and then kicked him in the stomach as the staff attempted to insert an intravenous tube in Stewart’s arm. Stewart was released from the hospital the same day and then charged with aggravated battery, police said.
