Juanito Castro, 48, of 5672 N. Elston Ave., Chicago, was charged Saturday with speeding and attempted bribery, police said. An officer stopped a 1994 Nissan van, which Castro was driving, for speeding near the intersection of Milwaukee Avenue and Palatine Roads, police said. Castro allegedly attempted to slip the officer $20 inside his insurance records, police said.
