Fifteen furnished models in three series have opened at Spring Lake Farm in far northwest suburban Lake in the Hills.
Spring Lake Farm has added 280 acres to the original subdivision, for a total of about 400 acres. The project is being developed by Sundance Homes of Rolling Meadows, and the entire project will total more than 1,000 homes when completed.
The homes in the three new series cost $129,999 to $189,990. Five models are in each series, all of them single-family homes. The Celebrity Series, Sterling Series and Master Collection are priced from $121,990 to $189,990.
One model in the Master Collection, the Monarch, won several awards, including best overall home, in the McHenry County Medley of Homes held in October, in which 27 builders showed homes.
The Celebrity series consists of 277 single-family, two-story detached homes ranging from 1,200 to 1,600 square feet, with two or three bedrooms and 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths. They cost $121,990 to $134,990.
The five Celebrity models are:
– The Maine, with 1,298 square feet. Features include vaulted living room and dining room ceilings, breakfast nook, two bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths and two-car garage. It is priced from $121,990.
– The Alexandria, with 1,494 square feet. Features include breakfast nook, family room, three bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths and two-car garage. It is priced from $127,990.
– The Hampshire, with 1,469 square feet. Features include vaulted living room ceiling, dining room, breakfast nook open to the family room, three bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths and two-car garage. It is priced from $129,990.
– The Georgetown, with 1,538 square feet. Features include vaulted living room ceiling, dining room, family room, three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and two-car garage. It is priced from $133,990.
– The Bostonian, with 1,626 square feet. Features include two-story foyer, breakfast nook, family room, three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and two-car garage. It is priced from $134,990.
The Sterling Series of 291 single-family homes costs $134,990 to $145,990. Its five two-story designs range from 1,550 to 1,900 square feet, with three or four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and two-car garage.

– The Aspen, a tri-level with 1,542 square feet of space. Features include vaulted celings, family room, three bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths and two-car garage. It is priced from $134,990.
– The Sierra, with 1,604 square feet. Features include vaulted living room and family room ceilings, breakfast nook, three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and two-car garage. It is priced from $138,990.
– The Tahoe, with 1,666 square feet. Features include two-story foyer, breakfast nook, family room, three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and two-car garage. It is priced from $141,990.
– The Crystal, a tri-level with 1,722 square feet. Features include vaulted dining room ceiling, family room, three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and two-car garage. It is priced from $143,990.
– The Cascade, with 1,810 square feet. Features include vaulted living dining room ceilings, family room, four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and two-car garage. It is priced from $145,990.
The Master Collection consists of 137 single-family homes priced from $161,990 to $189,990. They range from 1,979 to 2,294 square feet. Each is two stories with four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, basement and two- or three-car garages.
