People who live with disabilities should not have to fight the same battles day after day to achieve fair treatment in our society. Take a look at the following:

A recent study conducted by the Chicago Department of Consumer Services revealed that 47 percent of phone calls from disabled patrons to taxi services participating in Pace’s Taxi Access Program went unfilled.

Pace announced that door-to-door service for 25 students affiliated with a school for developmentally disabled children in Lansing would be eliminated after July 31 for budgetary reasons.

Although Pace runs regular routes from the suburbs into the city, Pace services for those with disabilities run only within the suburbs.
