Landmark Homes has introduced a new design, Model 570, to its Classic Collection of custom homes at Willowmere, 54 single-family homes in South Barrington.
Model 570 has volume ceilings in its living areas, four bedrooms, including a master bedroom suite, a library, two fireplaces and 1/2 baths. The 4,353 square feet home is priced from $553,600.
The home has a two-story foyer that showcases an L-shaped oak staircase leading to a gallery that overlooks the foyer and formal living room. Double doors lead from the foyer to the library, which has a bay window and cathedral ceiling. Across the foyer from the library is the formal dining room.
The two-story living room has a marble fireplace with traditional surround flanked by two-story windows topped with half-rounds.
The kitchen features a center cooktop island. The octagonal breakfast room is surrounded by windows, with French doors leading to the back yard.
The adjoining family room has two sets of French doors leading to the back yard and wrapped wood boxed beams on the ceiling. Bookcases flank the floor-to-ceiling brick fireplace, complete with built-in wood storage bin.
Off of the kitchen, a doorway leads to a walk-in pantry and laundry room with folding counter, closet and separate service and garage entrances. An additional staircase off the kitchen leads to the second floor.
Upstairs, the master bedroom suite has a cathedral ceiling, walk-in closet, optional fireplace and separate sitting room. The adjoining octagonal master bath has a volume ceiling, his and her vanities with dressing table, recessed lighting, separate shower, linen closet and private water closet. A step-up whirlpool tub is surrounded by windows.
Willowmere is on Algonquin Road, just east of Barrington Road, in South Barrington.
