Priscilla Presley, the former wife of Elvis Presley, will discuss her films, charity work and the legacy of Elvis during a special event in Aurora Aug. 21.

The event, billed as “an open conversation,” will be held at 4 p.m. at the Paramount Theatre, 23 E. Galena Blvd in downtown Aurora, according to a press release from the Paramount.

She will shares stories of her life in a format where she will answer audience questions.

Priscilla Presley portrayed Jenna Wade on the hit television drama “Dallas” from 1983 to 1988. She then was in the films “The Naked Gun: From the Files of the Police Squad,” “The Naked Gun 21/2” and “The Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult.” She has also appeared on many television shows including “Melrose Place,” “Touched by an Angel,” “Tales of the Crypt” and “Spin City.”

In 1979, she became co-executor of the Presley Estate after the death of Elvis’ father, Vernon Presley. She continues to be a steward of the Elvis Presley legacy, according to the release. She served as an executive producer on Elvis Presley’s album “If I Can Dream,” a collection of classic vocals embellished with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s backing. Released in October 2015, the album debuted at number one in the United Kingdom and Australia and has since gone triple platinum.

She has been an ambassador of the Dream Foundation for the past 18 years, helping to fulfill the dreams of adults battling terminal illnesses and has also worked closely with the Humane Society of the United States.

Single tickets to “An Afternoon With Priscilla Presley” are $65 and $75 with group discounts available. Two special VIP Packages are also available offering priority seating, exclusive perks and special access – the “Dream Meet and Greet Experience” for $239 and the “Seamless Experience” at $139.

Tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. to subscribers who have renewed or pre-ordered their Paramount 2016-17 Broadway series subscription.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. May 13.
