The Soviet Union has purchased another 200,000 tons of American corn, the Department of Agriculture has reported.

The latest sale, for undisclosed terms by private exporters, increased the record Soviet purchases to 17.35 million tons of American grain for the period that began last Oct. 1.

The total includes 14.46 million tons of corn and 2.89 million tons of wheat.
