Pro Bowl tight end sprained his left knee on the final play of the first half when he jumped for a long pass in the back of the end zone. He will undergo an MRI Monday. Coach Dick Vermeil said the injury could be more serious than a sprain. “I don’t think it’s really good,” he said.

QB left the Bills’ 34-7 loss to Miami late in the first quarter with a sprained right shoulder. Van Pelt said he won’t throw for six to eight weeks.

Linebacker left a 38-6 win over Carolina with a head injury. Patriots spokesman Stacey James said the team was unsure what happened to Bruschi. James said a trainer asked Bruschi what was wrong, and Bruschi said his head hurt and he could not continue to play.
