All people need closure when a family member dies, even families of terrorists. Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s uncle, Ruslan Tsarni, is just trying to do what every family would do: Give his nephew a proper burial.
It is no fault of Tsarni’s that his nephew was a terrorist, a fact that undoubtedly pains him and brings shame upon his family. Nevertheless, family is still family – no matter what – and I commend Tsarni for his efforts.
Of course, there will be protests at and possible damage to Tsarnaev’s eventual gravesite. But there must be a cemetery that will accept his body – if for no other reason than to let Tsarni have peace of mind.
